Rates
All charter rates are quoted in US Dollars (US$). What’s included and what not is specified in the “Rates & Dates” page.
Reservations & Bookings
Bookings are made subject to these Terms & Conditions. Payment of the deposit constitutes agreement to these Terms & Conditions. Passengers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We will hold booking dates for 7 days pending receipt of the deposit payment.
Your cruise dates are confirmed after we have received your 30%, non-refundable deposit.
All fares are quoted in US Dollars and the full deposit and remainder payment needs to be received. Any additional fees charged by your bank are your responsibility. Please make the payments accordingly, i.e. make sure that fees are on your side.
Bookings are accepted on the understanding that the customer is aware that all travel is at his / her own risk and that they appreciate the possible risks involved in adventure travel and surfing in remote areas (for boat charters), and they undertake the trip of their own volition.
Transportation Information
We provide local transportation to and from the closest airport to the embarkation or disembarkation point.
In the event of an out-of-schedule drop-off, transportation costs are also covered up to IDR 500,000 each way.
For charters embarking or disembarking at Pelabuhan Lombok (East Lombok Harbor), transportation costs are covered up to IDR 500,000 each way. Any additional amount beyond this limit is the responsibility of the guest.
Cancellations
All requests for cancellation must be submitted in writing (email). For cancellations received prior to full payment being received, the deposit is forfeited. Where cancellations are received after full payment has been made, up to 100% of the payment may be forfeited. No refund is available after the tour has commenced or in respect to any portion of the trip not utilised. If for any reason (sickness, accident etc.) after departure, the customer is unable to complete the trip, no refund can be made for any unused portion of the trip. For these and other reasons mentioned below, travel insurance is MANDATORY.
Cancellation Policy Due to Force Majeure
In the event that a cruise must be canceled due to force majeure circumstances — such as severe weather conditions, restrictions by the harbor-master, or any other unforeseen and uncontrollable events — no refunds will be issued.
Please note that the vessel and its operators are not responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of such cancellations, including but not limited to flight expenses, accommodation, or other travel-related costs.
Itinerary
The itineraries described are subject to change at the discretion of the ship’s captain. These are charters to remote parts of Indonesia and the operator reserves the right to change the itineraries due to weather conditions, availability of anchorages, political conditions, and other factors beyond his control, without consulting the participants. It is understood that such decisions will be made in the best interest of all passenger aboard and with regard of the safety of the vessel and the passengers. Participants have no right to any refund or other considerations in the event of these sometimes necessary itinerary changes.
Mandatory Vaccination Documentation
In accordance with port authority requirements, all guests are required to provide valid vaccination or medical certificates.
Acceptable documents include COVID-19 vaccination certificates or any other recognized medical or vaccination records. There are no restrictions regarding the date of issue — certificates of any age are accepted, provided they clearly confirm vaccination or medical compliance.
These documents are mandatory and must be submitted to us at least two (2) weeks before embarkation to ensure timely processing and approval by the port authorities.
Failure to provide the required documentation within this timeframe may result in delays or denial of boarding in accordance with port regulations.
Exchange Rate
Rates are quoted in USD Dollars and are based on current tariffs and exchange rates and are subject to change prior to departure. Substantial changes in tariffs, exchange rates, and the price of fuel, services, and labor sometimes increases the cost of expedition arrangements significantly, and the operator reserves the right to alter prices accordingly.
Travel Insurance
It is MANDATORY to take out comprehensive personal travel insurance to cover any eventuality, including charges arising should you have to cancel your travel plans. Details of your policy (company and policy number) must be provided with your booking details.
Passports & Visas
Most nationals are granted a free 30-day tourist visa, payable and issued upon arrival in Indonesia. Passports must be valid for 6 months after the date of entry. Please contact your nearest Indonesian consulate to confirm visa requirements as this is entirely your responsibility.
Health
These cruises are for persons in reasonably good health without physical disabilities. By forwarding the passenger details, the passenger certifies that he/she does not have any physical disabilities or other conditions that would create a hazard to themselves or to other passengers.
Clothing & Shoes
Dress on board is very casual, and passengers are advised to dress modestly during village visits. For nature walks, bring several sets of long sleeve, lightweight shirts and long trousers. The tropical sun is intense so be sure to bring a hat and a pair of sunglasses.
A comfortable pair of shoes or sandals suitable for trekking is advised. We also recommend that you bring at least one pair of sport shoes that you won’t mind getting wet for dinghy landings and exploring local reefs. For more information see our FAQ Page.
Responsibilities
Robinsons Cruises exercises every possible care in its operations of boats, however, Robinsons Cruises, its subsidiaries and/or associated agents, shall not be held responsible for property loss or damage and/or any damages resulting from illness, personal injuries, or death which may be sustained by reason of, or while engaged on, any tour whether due to the ownership, maintenance, use, operation or control of any aircraft, helicopter, automobile, bicycle, boat, vehicle, hotel, common carrier, or any other conveyance used in carrying out these tours. We can assume no liability due to any cause whatsoever whether caused by failure or delay or other irregularity, acts, or omissions occurring during a tour under which the means of of transportation or other service provided thereby is offered or supplied by owners, operators, or public carriers for whom Robinsons Cruises acts only as agent.
Robinsons Cruises reserves the right (at their discretion) to alter or omit any part of the itinerary or change any reservation, feature and/or means of conveyance without notice and for any reason whatsoever and without allowance or refund and with extra costs, if any, resulting there from paid by the passengers. They reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure, without further obligation on their part.
Robinsons Cruises shall not be responsible for any injury to person (whether or not resulting in death) or damage to property arising out of any act of war, terrorism, insurrection, revolt or other civil uprising or military action occurring in the countries of origin, destination, or passage. Robinsons Cruises strongly urges individual passengers to obtain such coverage. Baggage is at the owner’s risk entirely. The transportation companies concerned are not to be held responsible for any act, omission, or event during the time passengers are not aboard their carriers or conveyances. The passenger contract in use by the carriers concerned (when issued) shall constitute the sole contract between the transportation companies and the purchaser of these tours and/or passage.
By sending the passenger details, the passenger certifies that he/she does not have any mental, physical, or other condition or disability that would create a hazard for him/herself or other passengers. Robinsons Cruises reserves the right to cancel or withdraw any person as a member of a tour at any time.
